| The Villa Delle Palme Hotel is a beautiful hotel on
the charming island of Venice, just across the Lagoon from Saint Mark's
Square. In the year 1906, the hotel was built by the engineer Donghi and
is still beautiful as ever, after being remodelled both inside and
outside. |
| The hotel is a lovely mix of several different
architectural styles; Liberty, Renaissance and contemporary, all
harmoniously brought together in one lovely structure. The building was
once a private residence and then in the 1950's, it was converted into a
hotel. This magnificent building has not changed over the years, and
continues to amaze its guests with its grand staircase in the entry of
the hotel. |

Exterior |
The building is composed of three levels and has many
terraces that look out to the mesmerising lagoon, over to Venice, and
over the island of Lido. The palm tress that grow on the property gave
the hotel its name. The hotel has its own guest parking, and internet
point located in the lobby.
The hotel is conveniently located on the island, right in the center of
town. In a couple minutes one can walk to the main street Gran Viale, go
to the beach, or take a boat going to Venice and arrive in just 12
minutes. |

Hall |
The islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello are easy to
reach with public transportation. And for those intested in the art and
cultural exhibits at the Giardini (every other year a art and culture
exhibition takes place) it is a quick boat ride away, as well. Nearby
the hotel, it is possible to rent bikes and tandems, which is the ideal
way to tour around this sunny, happy place. |
| The hotel staff is available for restaurant or
trattoria suggestions for dining options. |
